I was poking around a site I recently discovered called New Escapologist and happened upon this blog post which brought to my attention a BBC documentary called American Nomads. A British journalist -Richard Grant- interviews several types of nomads here in the U.S. Among them are retirees in RVs, teens hopping trains, hitchhikers and rodeo cowboys. It’s quite the interesting 90 minutes and I recommend that you take some time to watch and enjoy it.
This documentary was intriguing and disturbing and captivating. I found myself routing for all these people and worried about them, too.
